From I-5 (not taking the ferry):

  • Take Exit #132 in Tacoma; merge onto Hwy 16 West. Hwy 16 becomes Hwy 3.
  • Stay on Hwy 3 until you reach the stoplight at the Hood Canal Floating Bridge (Hwy 104), about 45 miles.
  • Turn left (cross the bridge) and continue on Hwy 104 for about 4 miles.
  • Turn right onto Hwy 19 (Beaver Valley Rd). Go straight at the 4-way stop in Chimacum. Hwy 19 becomes Hwy 20. Follow Hwy 20 into Port Townsend.
  • Turn left onto Sheridan Street (next to the QFC). Follow Sheridan North for about 12 blocks to the stop sign. The church building is on the Southwest corner of the intersection of 19th Street & Sheridan.

From the Seattle area (taking the ferry):

  • We would recommend taking the Edmonds/Kingston ferry. Ferry schedules can be found here (link opens new window).
  • After arriving in Kingston, you will be on Hwy 104. Simply follow Hwy 104 out of town.
  • About 4 miles out of town you need to stay on Hwy 104 by turning right (at the Texaco).
  • Drive through Port Gamble, and follow Hwy 104 to the stoplight at the Hood Canal Floating Bridge.
  • Turn right (cross the bridge) and drive about 4 miles.
  • Turn right onto Beaver Valley Rd (Hwy 19). Go straight at the 4-way stop in Chimacum. Hwy 19 becomes Hwy 20. Follow Hwy 20 into Port Townsend.

From the Olympic Peninsula:

  • If you are west of Port Townsend (i.e. Sequim, Port Angeles, Forks, et al), follow Hwy 101 East.
  • Turn left onto Hwy 20 (at the south end of Discovery Bay). Follow Hwy 20 north.
  • Turn left at the stoplight (you’ll have to turn right or left). Follow Hwy 20 into Port Townsend.
  • Turn left onto Sheridan Street (next to the QFC). Follow Sheridan North for about 12 blocks to the stop sign. The church building is on the Southwest corner of the intersection of 19th Street & Sheridan.
